Colette Todd
Colette Todd has garnered critical acclaim as an actress all across Chicago. Recent work includes Next to Normal at Boho Theatre; Spamalot and Big Fish at Theatre at the Center; Passion, Aspects of Love, Honky Tonk Angels at Theo Ubique Cabaret Theatre; Parade at Writers Theatre; Mamma Mia! at Marriott Theatre; and Man of La Mancha, Oliver! and Annie Get Your Gun at Light Opera Works. Colette has been honored with three Joseph Jefferson awards and five nominations. In addition to her work on stage, she currently works at Loyola University Chicago shaping voices as an Instructor of Voice. She has also served as an Adjunct Professor of Music Education at Carthage College, founded the the Carthage College Vocal Jazz Ensemble, and has taught music within the Theatre Conservatory of the Chicago College of Performing Arts (CCPA) at Roosevelt University in Chicago. Colette received her Bachelor's Degree in Music Education with High Honors at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and her Master's Degree in Music Education from VanderCook College of Music in Chicago. She is a proud member of Actors' Equity Association and the National Association of Teachers of Singing. |
